What to expect:
The “Breathe and Be” Program consists of 60-minutes in-person sessions that combine guided meditation, breathing, and conscious movement practices. The Program also provides opportunities for reflection and questions. Led by certified mindfulness and yoga teachers with a dedication to fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and healing learning environment, this program is informed by current research and ancient wisdom. No prior experience is needed.

ABOUT
Guayana Paez-Acosta, MSc, 500hr RYT
An experienced sustainability professional and devoted yogini, Guayana is a 500 hr Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher (RYT) specialized in Yoga (Hatha and Ayurvedic) and mindfulness meditation, and the founder and CEO of Athena Lab for Social Change, a pioneering social enterprise merging personal transformation with societal impact. She developed the “AL Natural” Mindful Practices Program focusing on balancing the doshas, the bio-elemental energies that affect physical and emotional well-being, through asanas, pranayama, mudras, as well as integrating mindful movement and breath-centric meditation.
Through her offerings, she seeks to make accessible the power of yoga to people from all walks of life who are committed to personal transformation and social change in their communities by rekindling our personal and collective connection to nature.
A yoga session facilitated by Guayana weaves intentionality, focused attention, breathwork, nature’s elements and deeply restorative relaxation. She offers her services as facilitator, teacher, coach and mentor through different programs as well as group and private sessions. She is also currently preparing to launch her services as an integrative health coach.
